My Story Matters : Lighthouse Charities
Virtual Reality Experience
The Lighthouse Charities’ My Story Matters VR Refugee Experience invites participants to walk in the shoes of displaced people from around the world, engaging them in the refugees’ plight. The program is sponsored by the generosity of the Las Vegas Speedway Children’s Charities.
My Story Matters is a series of virtual reality short films, each one a powerful story told through the eyes of the refugees. With the help of Virtual Reality headsets, the viewer is engulfed in a 360-degree view of the film settings. Each story is saturated in awe-inspiring detail, both visual and acoustic, which provide a life-like experience for the participant.
The contemporary imagery of the My Story Matters VR Experience takes the participant on an emotional experience where they virtually see the refugee crisis unfold, encouraging them to gain greater compassion and understanding of the plight of refugees.
Reservations are required to attend My Story Matters VR Experiences.
