The Key is an interactive virtual reality experience with a strong narrative structure punctuated by moments of choice. The participant goes on a journey exploring dreams, facing challenges and difficult decisions. Through this journey, a hidden truth is uncovered and a new beauty revealed. The Key won the Tribeca Film Festival Storyscapes Award and the Grand Jury Prize for Best VR at Venice Film Festival.
The Displaced (11 minutes) 14+
War has driven 30 million children from their homes. These are the stories of three of them - from South Sudan, Syria and Ukraine. This ground-breaking VR film, created by Within and The New York Times, puts you in refugee camps and desolate villages, where you can witness firsthand the lives of the displaced refugees - their limited options and also their extraordinary, heart-filling resilience.
Famine (9 minutes) 14+
Travel into the arid expanse of Somalia, where crushing drought caused by rising temperatures has turned once-fertile lands into a year-round desert, placing the survival of a generation of children at great risk.
My Mother's Wing (8 minutes) 12+
In Gaza, foundations are built, destroyed, and built again. This VR experience follows a mother attempting to cope with the loss of her two children, victims of a shelling attack on her children's school.
Clouds Over Sidra (8 minutes) 12+
Meet Sidra. This charming 12-year-old girl will guide you through her temporary home: The Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan. Zaatari is home to 130,000 Syrians fleeing violence and war, and children make up half the camp's population. In this lyrical VR film, Sidra leads you through her daily life: Eating, sleeping, learning and playing in the vast desert city of tents.
