Each month, Lighthouse Charities refugee clients use 1.3 million yards of thread in our Rejesha Project!

Now that’s a lot of thread!

The Rejesha Project is a job training program offered at Lighthouse Charities. Reject linen from Las Vegas hotel properties is recycled by our clients and repurposed into cleaning rags. 

These rags are sold back to the hotels for custodial purposes, creating revenue for our job training program and employment opportunities for refugees in our community.

You can be a part of this good work by participating in our thread drive!  Your contribution helps to alleviate the expenses that Lighthouse Charities incurs allowing more of the revenue from the sale of these cleaning rags to be reinvested into our clients livelihoods.
